General information, not professional advice

CareerGuru provides self-help tools and general educational content. It is not an employer, recruiter, applicant tracking system, law firm, tax adviser, immigration adviser, financial adviser, or licensed career counselling service. Results do not guarantee employment, interviews, applicant-system outcomes, salary accuracy, or any other result.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing every application, statement, calculation, and decision. Keep claims truthful, protect confidential information, verify job offers and employer identities, and consult official sources or qualified local professionals when legal, tax, immigration, financial, health, or regulated issues are involved.

Permitted use

You may use the public tools for personal, educational, and ordinary professional purposes. You may not disrupt or probe the site, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, automate abusive traffic, impersonate CareerGuru, scrape the site at a harmful rate, or use the site to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

Your content and local data

You retain rights in text and information you enter. The current tools process that information locally as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for lawful use, device security, and backups. CareerGuru is not responsible for application-tracker data lost through browser clearing, device failure, private browsing, extensions, or other local conditions.

The CareerGuru name, site design, original text, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership. You may link to public pages and quote brief portions with attribution. Republishing substantial content, presenting the tools as your own service, or removing notices requires written permission.

CareerGuru does not control their content, availability, hiring decisions, privacy practices, or security. A link does not automatically mean endorsement. Verify destinations before sharing information or making a payment.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or remove features and content. We aim for useful and reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or error-free calculations. Features may behave differently across browsers and devices.

Disclaimer and limitation

CareerGuru will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the site.
